Matlock Station (Matlock)

Matlock Station is the railway station that serves the popular riverside town of Matlock.

Joseph Paxton is believed to have been involved in the design of the station house.

Matlock is now the terminus of a scenic line which follows the valley of the River Derwent.

Trains come to Matlock from Derby, via Belper, Cromford and Matlock Bath.

Trains formerly continued to Bakewell and Buxton, and part of this line is reopened as a steam attraction from Matlock Riverside Station.
