Eggsford Station (Eggesford)

Eggesford Station is the railway station serving the Devon hamlet of Eggesford.

When the line opened in 1854, the landowner stipulated that all trains must stop at Eggesford, and this holds good today.

The line is now a picturesque branch line, known as the Tarka Line.

Trains come from Exeter, by way of Newton St. Cyres, Crediton and Copplestone.

The continue to Kings Nympton, Umberleigh and Barnstaple.
