St. Ann`s Hotel (Buxton)

St. Ann`s Hotel is a historic building in the elegant spa town of Buxton.

It is situated in The Crescent.

The Crescent was built for the Duke of Devonshire between 1780 and 1789. It was designed by John Carr of York, and included hotels, lodgings and elaborate Assembly Rooms.

The three storey front elevation is dominated by Doric pilasters, and there is a continuous rusticated ground floor arcade.
