No 1 Royal Crescent (Bath)
No 1 Royal Crescent is a restoration of a grand part of the history of Bath.
Royal Crescent is a magnificent sweep of architecture, at the top of the hill overlooking the old core of the city.
No 1 was the first of the terrace to be built. After Bath`s heyday it became a girls` school in the 1840s, and gradually decayed until being purchased by a benefactor in 1968 and given to the Bath Preservation Trust.
Each of the rooms is laid out in contemporary style.
