Barking Station (Barking)

Barking Station is the railway station that serves the busy town of Barking in Greater London.

The station was rebuilt by H. H. Powell in 1961.

Trains from London leave from Fenchurch Street Station and arrive by way of Limehouse and West Ham.

They continue to Basildon, Southend and Shoeburyness.

Another line runs to Southend by way of Purfleet, Grays and Tilbury.

There is another suburban line which runs to Leyton, Harringay and Richmond (Surrey).

Barking is also an Underground station on the District Line, and terminus of the Hammersmith and City Line.
