Attleborough
Attleborough is a busy market town in Norfolk, 5 miles from Wymondham.
The splendid parish church dates from the Norman period, and has a rood screen created in 1475.
In the churchyard is a pyramid over the grave of Lawyer Brooke, a local solicitor and amateur Egyptologist, who became convinced that being buried beneath a pyramid was the only way to ensure happiness in the life hereafter.
There is a splendidly ornate signpost at the crossroads.
Nearby is the Snetterton motor racing circuit.
