Bakewell (A Coach Trip in Bakewell)

"Bakewell" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by the Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.

These trips are an excellent way of soaking up some Local History.

The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester at 8am and will return at about 9pm.

Colin gives his customary commentary along the way, bringing to life the fascinating places encountered on the route. This is one of the aspects that make Colin`s trips unique.

Bakewell is a small market town in Derbyshire, at the heart of the highly scenic Peak District. It is particularly famous for the culinary delight known as Bakewell pudding.

During the trip, Colin leads a Guided Walk around Bakewell, pointing out many fascinating places of interest, including All Saints Church, the Original Bakewell Pudding Shop, the mediaeval Wye Bridge and the lovely Riverside Walk.
