Wedding in Devon
My wife Anne and I recently travelled to Devon for my daughter`s wedding.
Theresa and Daniel were married at the Fox and Hounds, a hotel with very nice gardens at Eggesford.
The ceremony was very nicely organised, and the weather co-operated. It was a very nice day in many ways.
It was a very long day for us, of course. We caught an early train from Leicester to Birmingham, and then on to Exeter, where we changed onto the branch line that runs to Barnstaple. Then later on, obviously, we did the journey in reverse, arriving back home late at night.
But it was very nice to be asked, and equally nice to be able to organise our time to make the journey and take part.
