The Durham Trip Went Down Well

I recently led another of my popular Coach Trips from Leicester. This time it was "Durham".

We set off as always from St. Margarets Bus Station in the City Centre, and travelled Northwards until we reached Barlborough, where we made our coffee stop at Dobbies Garden World.

Then it was ever Northward until we reached the historic old city of Durham itself.

While we were there, I led my Guided Walk around Durham, pointing out lots of places of interest, including of course Durham Cathedral and Durham Castle, and giving many opportunities for photographs.

On the way back, we stopped at Tibshelf Services.

My Visitors Book attracted such comments as "better than I expected, enjoyed the extra bits of information on the way", "thanks for keeping us entertained, Colin", "a very interesting trip with an excellent Guided Walk" and "thoroughly enjoyed the day, beautiful cathedral".
