Excursions
I visited Alexandra Palace, high up on its hill in London, recently for the annual trade show known as Excursions.
It`s an opportunity to learn about new ventures that towns, attractions, hotels and travel companies are putting together, but most of all it`s a chance to put faces to names and to renew old friendships. I love it.
During the day, I had the chance to talk to people from such places as Colchester; Ipswich; Oxford; Portsmouth; Southend; Winchester; Windsor; and Yorkshire.
And I was able to chat with old friends such as James Anderson; Steven Hallam; Carol Jolly; Paul Quilter; Stuart Parker; Mike Pressling; and David Stainer.
