National Centre for Early Music (York)

The National Centre for Early Music is an excellent resource in the ancient city of York.

It is housed in the former St. Margaret`s church in Walmgate.

This mediaeval church boasts a 12th century Romanesque doorway, as well as a notable 17th century brick tower.

The centre is equipped to host concerts, music education, activities, conferences, recordings and events.
