Wakefield Westgate Station (Wakefield)

Wakefield Westgate Station is one of two railway stations serving Wakefield in Yorkshire.

The other is Wakefield Kirkgate Station.

Wakefield Westgate is the second station on the site, having replaced the first in 1867. The architect was J. B. Fraser of Leeds (Yorkshire).

Trains come from Sheffield by way of Rotherham, Swinton and Bolton-on-Dearne.

They continue to Outwood and Leeds.
