Stamford Brewery Museum (Stamford)

Stamford Brewery Museum is one of the more unuasual tourist attractions in the splendid old town of Stamford.

It is situated in All Saints Street, close to Red Lion Square.

The brewery, run unusually by steam, was established in 1825, but ceased brewing in 1974, it being felt to be uneconomical to replace the necessary machinery.

The museum was created in 1978, and contains much of the original brewing and distilling equipment.
