Speke Hall (Speke)
Speke Hall is a superb house at Speke near Liverpool.
It is situated on the North bank of the River Mersey, close to John Lennon Airport, but on a fine estate.
Speke Hall is a black and white timber framed mansion, built in the 16th century, and has rich Victorian interiors.
The gardens are beautiful.
Speke Hall is now in the care of the National Trust.
