Maritime Museum (Southampton)
The Maritime Museum is a fascinating attraction in the nautical city of Southampton.
It is situated in Town Quay, by the waterfront, in a former wool warehouse that was built around 1400.
There is a fine collection of exhibits detailing the city`s maritime history. Among these are a model of the docks in their heyday, the 1930s, and another model of the "Queen Mary", one of the grandest Transatlantic liners of them all.
