St. Marys Church (Sileby)

St. Mary's is the parish church of the largely industrial village of Sileby in Leicestershire.

A stately church dating back to the 13th century, it has an impressive West tower.

The North door is of the 13th century, and has a Norman dogtooth design on the hoodmould.

The porch is perpendicular and has two storeys.

There are two rood loft openings, from when the rood screen would have been in place.
