St. Josephs Church (Sheringham)

St. Joseph's is the Catholic church serving the popular seaside town of Sheringham in Norfolk.

It is situated in Cromer Road.

Giles Gilbert Scott was the architect of this small red brick church, which is nevertheless tall. It was opened in 1910.

An extension was completed in 1936.

The Stations of the Cross were made in Genoa, but were impounded by the German authorities for the duration of the First World War.

Eric Gill carved the front of the altar in the Lady Chapel.
