Sheringham Station (Sheringham)

Sheringham Station is the railway station that serves the seaside resort of Sheringham in Norfolk.

In fact there are two stations, one on either side of the main street, from which the level crossing linking the two has been removed.

It is a few minutes walk down the main street to the Sea Front.

Sheringham is now the terminus of the line known as the "Bittern Line", running from Norwich, via Wroxham, North Walsham and Cromer.

The other station is now the terminus of the North Norfolk Railway, also known as the "Poppy Line", which runs steam trains to Holt and formerly went to Norwich via Melton Constable.
