Sheffield Station (Sheffield)

Sheffield Station is the railway station serving the major city of Sheffield in Yorkshire.

There is a very pleasant walkway leading from the station up to the city centre.

The present station was a rebuilding by Charles Trubshaw in 1905.

Trains from London for Sheffield leave from the magnificentSt. Pancras Station, and reach the city by way of St. Albans, Luton, Bedford, Kettering, Market Harborough, Leicester, Loughborough and Chesterfield.

The pretty Hope Valley Line runs to Hathersage, Edale, Stockport and Manchester.

Another line runs to Barnsley, Wakefield and Leeds, and another to Rotherham and York.
