Sheerness Station (Sheerness)

Sheerness Station is the railway station that serves the coastal town of Sheerness in Kent.

It is the terminus of a branch line which runs from Sittingbourne, by way of Kemsley, Swale and Queenborough.

A former station named Sheerness Dockyard closed in 1922.

Another station, Sheerness East, closed in 1950, was on a branch line which ran to Minster-in-Sheppey, Eastchurch and Leysdown.
