Sea Life Centre (Scarborough)

The Sea Life Centre is a popular attraction in the Yorkshire seaside resort of Scarborough.

As is the case with the other Sea Life Centres around the country, it has a fine reputation for conservation of marine species.

The centre has recreated a number of marine habitats, including freshwater rivers and streams, the rugged UK coastline, the shallows and depths of the North Sea and the crystal clear waters of the barrier reef, so that many creatures can be seen in their normal surroundings.

There is also a Turtle Sanctuary, opened in 2009.
