Salford Central Station (Salford)
Salford Central Station is one of two railway stations serving the city of Salford in Greater Manchester.
The other is Salford Crescent Station.
Trains from Manchester leave from Manchester Victoria Station.
They continue to Eccles, St. Helens and Liverpool.
Another line runs to Salford Crescent, Bolton and Blackburn.
The station was originally simply named Salford, and Central was added when Salford Crescent was opened.
