Ordsall Hall (Salford)

Ordsall Hall is a mediaeval hall in Salford.

It is situated in Ordsall Lane.

A fine timber framed house, it was bought by Salford Council in 1959, and now sits, largely unnoticed, not far from Salford Quays.

Although there is a Victorian brick exterior and 17th century extensions, there is also a superb 15th century hall, with an excellent screen.
