Buteshire Natural History Museum (Rothesay)

The Buteshire Natural History Museum, often shortened to Bute Museum, is an interesting attraction at Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.

It is situated in Stuart Street.

The museum has displays about various aspects of the island`s life, but of course the main emphasis is on wildlife and nature.

It also has an impressive collection of eighty eight models of the steamers which served the coasts and islands of the River Clyde, fuelling the area`s tourism industry.
