Visitor Centre (Rochester)

The Visitor Centre in the cathedral city of Rochester in Kent has won a string of awards.

The centre is situated in the High Street, which was part of the Roman Watling Street that ran from Richborough via Canterbury and London to Shropshire.

It is virtually opposite Rochester Cathedral.

The centre consists of a well-appointed Tourist Information Centre and gift shop, together with toilets, a cafe and showings of films about the Medway area.

Immediately outside the rear entrance are places for coaches to set down and pick up.
