Forge Needle Mill (Redditch)
Forge Needle Mill is an interesting feature of Redditch in Worcestershire.
It is situated on the Northern edge of the town.
The mill is the only remaining complete waterpowered needle scouring and polishing mill. It was last worked commercially in 1958.
Today, it is restored as part of a fascinating museum, complete with a museum shop.
Also on the site is an archaeological museum with the remains of a water powered mill dating back to the 12th century.
There are also remains of a mediaeval abbey.
