Prospect Park (Reading)
Prospect Park is an urban park in Reading.
The main entrance is in Bath Road.
Prospect Park consists largely of open parkland, from which can be seen fine views of the Kennet Valley and beyond.
The Mansion House is a white stuccoed Grade II listed house from the Regency period, now used as a restaurant.
There is an artificial pond and the Rookery, a small area of mature oak woodland.
Voluntary enthusiasts run a miniature steam railway in the Summer.
