Quebec House (Portsmouth)

Quebec House is an interesting building at Portsmouth.

Situated in Bath Square at Portsmouth Point, it was built by public subscription as a sea-bathing establishment in 1754.

The house has white weatherboarding, of the type common in Essex and less so in Suffolk and Kent. It is the only example left in Portsmouth.
