Paignton Zoo (Paignton)
Paignton Zoo is probably the most popular zoo in the South West, and is situated in the South Devon resort of Paignton.
Animals and plants are displayed here by habitat, ranging from deserts and savannahs to forests and the tropics.
Among the highlights are three sorts of crocodile, including the only Cuban crocodiles in England, plus pythons and rare black rhinos.
The zoo`s sister attraction, Living Coasts, is nearby at Torquay.
