Merton College Chapel (Oxford)

Merton College Chapel is the largest of the Oxford college chapels, and also the oldest. The choir was completed in 1294.

The central tower has a high octagonal gallery, which is used by the bellringers.

There is a monument by Nicholas Stone to Thomas Bodley in the North transept.

The lectern is made of brass, and dates from 1503.
