51 Castle Gate is a historic building in Nottingham.

It is of course situated in Castle Gate, close to Nottingham Castle.

The council took over four Georgian houses in 1970. Two of these now form the Museum of Costume and Textiles.

Five rooms have been refashioned. A dining room from the 1790s; a parlour from the 1830s; a drawing room from the 1860s; a boudoir from 1910; and a sitting room from 1935.
