Newark Castle Station (Newark)

Newark Castle is one of two railway stations serving the historic Nottinghamshire town of Newark. The other is Newark Northgate.

The station is a short distance from the town centre, across the River Trent.

It was built in a classical style in 1846.

Newark Castle Station is on a cross country line from Nottingham, which continues to Lincoln, Market Rasen, Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
