Cornwall House (Monmouth)
Cornwall House is an interesting building in Monmouth.
It is situated in Monnow Street, the main shopping street of the town.
Cornwall House is a town house dating back to the 16th century, with a red brick garden facade dating from 1752 and designed in the Queen Anne style. The frontage to the street was remodelled in the Georgian style.
There are many original features, including a particularly fine staircase.
