George Hotel (Melton Mowbray)

The George Hotel is a public house and hotel in the town centre of the attractive market town of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.

It is situated in the High Street, on the edge of the busy Market Place and around the corner from Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe.

The George was originally an 18th century coaching inn, and still contains interesting memorabilia from coaching days.

The main entrance foyer has been converted from the original coaching entrance.
