Market Harborough Station (Market Harborough)

Market Harborough Station serves the splendid country town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire.

It is situated in Rockingham Road, a few minutes walk from the town centre.

The station was built in an attractive Queen Anne style in 1884.

Trains reach Market Harborough from St. Pancras Station in London via St. Albans, Luton, Bedford and Kettering, and continue to Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield.

There was formerly another station next door, with several lines emanating from it. This closed in 1966.

One line went to Rugby, and another to Northampton. A third ran to Hallaton, Melton Mowbray and Newark, and yet another served Rockingham and Stamford.
