Castle Lodge (Ludlow)

Castle Lodge is a historic building in Ludlow.

It is situated in Castle Square.

The ground floor was built by the Palmers, the richest of the mediaeval guilds in the town, in the 14th century.

The upper storeys were added in the 16th century, with a Great Chamber overlooking the Market Place.

There are remarkable examples of linenfold panelling and ornamental plaster ceilings.
