St. Anne Limehouse (London)

St. Anne Limehouse is an interesting church in the East End of London.

It is situated in Commercial Road, and is one of the oldest buildings in what is now the regenerated Docklands.

The church was built by Nicholas Hawksmoor in the 1720s as one of the Fifty New Churches ordered by Queen Anne.

It has a huge tower and striking West front.
