Finsbury Circus Garden (London)

Finsbury Circus Garden is a public garden in London.

It is situated in Finsbury Circus.

Covering one and a half acres, it is the largest public park in today`s City of London.

Situated outside the City Wall, it had by 1606 been laid out with walks, elm trees and benches.

The City of London bought the site in 1812, and the garden was designed by George Dance.

It includes formal gardens, bedding displays, a bandstand and the only bowling green in the City.
