Albert Memorial (London)

The Albert Memorial is an imposing structure in London.

It is situated at Princes Gate in Kensington Gore, at the entrance to Kensington Gardens and opposite the Royal Albert Hall.

The memorial was commissioned in the 19th century by Queen Victoria, in memory of her late husband Prince Albert.

It is an elaborate memorial, designed by George Gilbert Scott, and is designed to show all that is best about the British nation and its people.

The Albert Memorial was built between 1863 and 1875.
