Llangollen Station (Llangollen)

Llangollen Station serves the popular tourist town of Llangollen in North Wales.

It is situated beside the River Dee, on the other side of the old town bridge, but only a short walk from the town centre.

The station was formerly on a line running from Wrexham to Corwen and Bala, which closed in 1965.

It is now the terminus of a popular steam railway.

Nearby is the Llangollen basin of the Shropshire Union Canal.
