Jephson Gardens (Leamington Spa)

Jephson Gardens are attractive spa gardens at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.

The main entrance is in The Parade.

The gardens were first laid out in 1831 as informal riverside walks, and extended in later years.

The temple was unveiled in 1849, and contains the statue of Dr. Jephson, after whom the gardens are named. There are also some other memorials.

Since 1999, the gardens have been restored by the local authority, and are complemented by a stunning subtropical glasshouse.
