Knaresborough Station (Knaresborough)

Knaresbrough Station serves the historic old Yorkshire town of Knaresborough.

The station replaced an earlier one which was closed in 1851.

From the viaduct over the River Nidd, just outside the station, there is an unforgettable view of the town.

Knaresborough is on a line from York, which continues to Harrogate and Leeds.

There was formerly a branch line which ran to Boroughbridge and Thirsk.
