Huddersfield Station (Huddersfield)

Huddersfield Station is the railway station that serves Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.

It was designed in classical style by J. S. Pritchett of York and completed in 1850. It is widely regarded as one of the finest railway buildings in England.

Trains come from Sheffield, and arrive by way of Barnsley, Penistone and Denby Dale.

They continue to Brighouse, Halifax and Bradford.

Another line runs to Stalybridge, Ashton-under-Lyne and Manchester.
