St. Peter`s Church (Horninghold)
St. Peter`s is the parish church of Horninghold in High Leicestershire.
The church dates from around 1150, the earliest part being the South doorway, with three tiers of carved stars and a lamb and flag decoration.
The West tower, which is surmounted by a short broach spire with lucarnes, dates from the 13th century, as do the arcades and the font.
There is a Knights Templar coffin lid.
