Queen Elizabeth Country Park (Horndean)

Queen Elizabeth Country Park is a large country park and nature reserve at Horndean in Hampshire.

The main entrance is in Gravel Hill.

The country park extends over 1,400 acres of Hampshire downland and woodland, on the edge of the South Downs and of the Forest of Bere. It includes Butser Hill.

The area includes forest plantation, secondary woodland, yew woodland and chalk downland. There are over ten types of orchid, and many rare creatures.

Butser Hill affords extensive views and is a popular place for flting kites.
