St. Andrew`s Church (Heckington)

St. Andrew`s Church is the parish church of the Lincolnshire village of Heckington.

With its sturdy tower surmounted by a spire, it dates from the early 14th century.

There is a wealth of mediaeval carvings, including 38 statues, featuring angels, monsters and ordinary peasants.

The chancel contains the tomb of Richard de Potesgrave, and an excellent grouping of Easter Sepulchre, sedilia and piscina.
