Ha`penny Pier Visitor Centre (Harwich)
The Ha`penny Pier Visitor Centre is one of a number of fascinating attractions in the old seaport of Harwich in Essex.
The centre is housed in the old ticket office and waiting room for the paddle steamers which once used the pier.
Among the exhibits is a feature on the "Mayflower", whose captain, Christopher Jones, was a Harwich man. It was the "Mayflower" which took the Pilgrim Fathers to America.
