Clydebuilt (Glasgow)

Clydebuilt is a fascinating attraction in Glasgow.

It is situated at Braehead on the bank of the River Clyde, close to the King George V Dock.

Housed in a modern building, it is a museum that makes the most of interactive displays and video presentations, to highlight local industries, in particular shipbuilding.

Moored on the Clyde is the coastal steamer "Kyles", which was built in 1872 by John Fullerton of Paisley.

Visitors can try their skills on machines simulating loading a cargo or steering ship through dangerous waters to a safe harbour.
