Secret Wartime Tunnels (Dover)

The Secret Wartime Tunnels are a popular tourist attraction at Dover in Kent.

The tunnels are part of the complex around Dover Castle, now administered by English Heritage, and are located deep inside the White Cliffs of Dover.

Visitors can, through sight, sound and smells, relive the drama of the wartime hospital at the time of the Battle of Britain, and of planning for the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation, masterminded by Vice Admiral Adams.
