Danbury Country Park (Danbury)
Danbury Country Park is a lovely area at the Essex village of Danbury.
Based in part on old parkland, the country park includes woodland and a lake with ducks.
There are also ornamental gardens, ancient pollarded trees, an 18th century ice house and a ha-ha.
Day permits are available for fishing.
There are superb views, as Danbury is the highest point for miles around.
